Anthemn For Broken Hearts

For all the broken hearts an anthemn rings
Clear as a bell, oh how the sound stings
It's pure as the flame that will burn us in Hell
But yet it remains, our love purer still

And if we can love, so innoncent;  oh, far from carefree
Then can you just try and look, really see
This may not be for you, but it certainly hits home
To the hospital beds you would leave alone

So look from our eyes, take our sneakers and run
Just like we've been trying to do, we'll let you have fun
But when your feet hurt so bad, like ours do now
We'll ask you how it feels to run yourself down

Let us consider, your repents and cries
You want your shoes back, but you'll have to try
Because yours are more comfortable, they help us run free,
Maybe we'll stick you with our shoes and just let you be

Because you offered no words of advice
Your simple religions, your hatred; your vice
It kept you from seeing, but now you have not a choice
So let's scream and shout till we drown out your voice

It's simple and clean, the same that we've seen from you
Your sharp words that tried to run us through
Now it's our turn to jab and poke fun;
You're going to Hell with us,  and you've nowhere to run.
